Insurance & Rates

Dr. Lynd accepts Excellus BlueCross BlueShield (excluding the Essential Plan, Child Health Plus, Blue Choice Option, and other Medicaid/Medicare managed products) and Aetna (excluding Medicaid/Medicare managed products), which means patients are responsible for co-payment, deductible, or co-insurance expenses in accordance with their health plan. Payment is required at the time of service.

Dr. Lynd does not accept/is “out of network” with all other insurance plans, which means patients are responsible for paying for all services out-of-pocket. Full payment is required at the time of service. Upon request, Dr. Lynd can provide a claim statement (also known as a “super bill”) which patients can submit to their insurance carrier for reimbursement (usually for a partial amount). Unfortunately, insurance regulations prohibit her from accepting patients with Medicare or Medicaid coverage. Out-of-pocket fees range from $200 to $600 per appointment, depending on the appointment type.
